Although I’ve shared most of the highlights of our 2014 Eastern Caribbean Cruise – the accessible room, the MS Education, and the shore excursions to San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Martin – there’s one important detail I haven’t mentioned …
Question: When you tell someone you’re going on a cruise, what’s one of the first things they talk about?
Answer: The amazing (and abundant) food!
Whether our meals came from the buffet, the fine restaurants, or via room service (a godsend in the morning), we were never, ever hungry.
I could write about the attention to cleanliness at the buffet …or the wonderfully-attentive staff at Opus Restaurant (seen here) and Blu …
or the array of options that made our decisions so deliciously challenging each day.
But, really, wouldn’t you rather just drool a little as you look at all this yumminess?!

Starters …

Each plate was a visual feast as well …
And then … Dessert!
Big thanks to my cruise companions, Carrieanna, Tammy and Cindy, who shared their food for photos (and bites)!
And to the talented chefs and attentive wait staff aboard the Celebrity Reflection!

I have a friend who recently took a great Celebrity Alaskan cruise. She didn’t feel like the food was overemphasized, but wonderful. Her favorite part was the naturalist on board. Other, more experienced cruisers (this was her first) said Celebrity is their favorite line.
